I have also worked as Senior Social Web and Destination Marketing Analyst for PhoCusWright, the travel industry research authority on how travelers, suppliers and intermediaries connect, delivering high quality research on the evolving dynamics that influence travel, tourism and hospitality distribution and producer of high-profile executive conferences.
My previous experience, going back three decades, has been mainly in destination marketing. I have also worked in tour operations, retail travel and the airline industry.
I have been project team leader responsible for building MySwitzerland a major tourism destination portal. I was a member of the senior management team of the first web based tour operator to offer customer designed dynamic packages.
During my global business career, I have held senior executive positions in the travel industry in Japan, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States.
